Bruce Dusenberry, President
Bruce Dusenberry joined Horizon Moving Systems in 1994, following in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps. The family-owned moving and storage company, which was founded more than 85 years ago, is one of the largest in Arizona—and continues to grow under Dusenberry’s leadership.

The Arizona native is active in community affairs. His lengthy list of memberships includes Tucson Airport Authority, Southern Arizona Leadership Council, president emeritus of DM 50, and chairman of the board for Arizona Town Hall.

Nationally, Dusenberry has served on the board of directors for UniGroup, Inc., a $2 billion holding company of United and Mayflower van lines. He has also spent more than three decades with the American Heart Association, holding various leadership roles such as chairman of it’s National Corporate Relations Review Committee.

Prior to heading Horizon Moving Systems, Dusenberry practiced law for nearly two decades. He graduated from UCLA School of Law and earned his bachelor’s at Occidental College.

Dusenberry is married with two children. He enjoys University of Arizona sporting events, flying his Cessna T210, traveling with his family and photography.

Vinay Kulkarni, Chief Operating Officer
Vinay is an expert in Strategy Development, Strategic Marketing and Process Improvement. Prior to joining Horizon, Vinay was a Senior Advisor for Strategic Growth Advisors, a business advisory firm focused on helping small and mid-sized businesses grow faster than their competition.

Vinay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mysore, India, a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arizona’s College of Engineering and Mines, and an MBA in Strategy and Marketing from the University of Arizona’s Eller School of Business. Over the last 7 years, he has helped to develop and implement sustainable growth strategies for clients in a wide range of industries including publishing, education, E-learning, cosmetics, spa and wellness, alternative medicine, pharmacy, manufacturing and, most recently, transportation.

Vinay lives with his wife in Tempe, AZ and enjoys reading, listening to music from around the world and inventing new dishes in his kitchen. Vinay and his wife also donate their time to local community and charitable organizations as volunteers during food drives, fund raising auctions and other events.

Rick Shelley, General Manager of Sierra Vista & Sales Manager of Tucson

With more than 25 years experience in sales, marketing and management, Rick Shelley joined Horizon Moving Systems of Sierra Vista in January 2000.

During his tenure in sales, he qualified for the United Van Lines Master Club four straight years and helped the Sierra Vista branch earn numerous awards including United Van Lines Customer Choice Award and the Better Business Bureau's Business Ethics Award. His team's quality and performance excelled each year as demonstrated by consistent high customer ratings, including a "willingness to recommend" score averaging 92 percent.

As the Sierra Vista General Manager since 2008, he is proud that his team has continued to improve its "willingness to recommend" score to 94 percent along with additional awards including another National Customer Choice Award from United Van Lines. In late 2009, Shelley was chosen to take on the additional responsibility as co-general manager of the Tucson branch with the primary focus on sales and marketing.

Shelley is proud to be part of the long Horizon tradition of community involvement. He has served as past president of his local Rotary Club and the Sierra Vista Executive Association. Additionally, he is actively involved in the Chamber of Commerce, Southern Arizona Real Estate Association, the Huachucans and other volunteer organizations.

Most importantly, it is with great pride that he is part of Horizon Moving Systems team that daily practices their core values of Harmony, Compassion, Efficiency, Respect, Integrity and Honesty while moving customers through life.
